I was awarded the highest honor for our Mason-Oceana-Manistee Board of Realtors, when I recieved the 2007 Realtor of the Year Award. What a humbling experience.

4 years of service on the Mason-Ocean-Manistee Programs Committee with 2 years spent as Chair, Certified Negotiation Specialist, GRI-1, Associate Broker, Certified Previews Property Specialist for high-end homes over 500K, 2-year term as Secretary/Treasurer for the Mason-Oceana-Manistee Board of Realtors® 1-year term as Vice President and Currently (2008) the President for the Mason-Oceana-Manistee Board of Realtors.

I attended the NAR conference, Chicago in 2001, MAR in 2002, 2006 & 2007, Achieve 2004 & 2005 & 2008. The more knowledge I gain the better I can serve you in our growing real estate industry.

Personal Background

After I graduated from High School, I moved to Traverse City and attended North Western Michigan College majoring in Business. I lived, went to school and worked in the Traverse City area for almost 2 years before I met my husband Dave and returned to beautiful Oceana County. I then went on to pursue my real estate license and obtained my sales persons license in 2000. My husband and I married in 2003 and had our first Child (Chase) in April 2007. The winter & spring of 2007 I continued my education and earned my Associate Brokers License. My parents own and run Adams Heating & Cooling in Hart, and my husbands family owns Daves Party Store also in Hart. I love this area for many reasons, one that is the most important is the quaint and cozy towns nestled in the rolling landscape. We are blessed to have the Lake Michigan Shoreline, Pentwater, Silver Lake, and Stony Lake so close. Not to mention all the inland lakes & rivers. I can't imagine calling anyplace else home!

Personal Interests

Traveling is on the top of the list for me as far as things I enjoy to do. I would have to say spending time with my family is of the utmost importance and usually along with that comes camping trips, motorcycling and refurbishing homes for resale. We've taken on 3 home projects over the last 2 years and have really enjoyed seeing the finished project. What better way to invest your money!

Professional Interests

I've enjoyed my past few years involvement with the Mason-Oceana-Manisted Board of Realtors. I started helping out with the Programs committee in 2001 and continued with that committee for 4 years, 2 of which I chaired the committee. I then moved on to the Sec/Tres of the Board of Directors position which I held for 2 years until I moved up to Vice President. I most recently was sworn in as President of the Board for 2008. I have worked very hard at earning the respect of my piers and have thoroughly enjoyed the relationships I have gained from my involvement. I plan on continuing my volunteer work with the Board after my term is up in December.
